ABOUT ME
Hannah Dorman is an upcoming singer songwriter from Ham in Richmond UK. Her music and lyrics show a maturity way beyond her years and she is continually writing more material. Hannah has an eclectic mix of influences from KT Tunstall and Anastacia to Take That and McFly! Firmly set in the pop/rock tradition her songs are catchy, memorable and loved by her growing band of fans.
Listening to Hannah it's hard to imagine she only started seriously in January 2009, though you can find videos of her on You Tube from 2007 when she was just 13 - or see them here. This year she has been gigging around as much as she can in the time available to her whilst keeping up with her other commitments.
Hannah has been singing and dancing from a very early age and has always wanted to be a performing artist. Her plan is 'to make it big' and tour the world playing the really big venues. Currently Hannah sings acoustic sets and plays guitar, but she doesn't want to remain a solo artist and plans to have a band to support her. Hannah is now being vocal coached by world renowned Stevie Vann Lange, whose skills are bringing a new maturity to her voice.
April and May and June 2009 have been really busy (gig history to come) and two tracks have been recorded at The Dairy Studios in Brixton. Bebo signed her for a six month contract and she is officially a Bebo Superhero, interviewed and singing one of her current songs for their weekly online magazine (Show 23, 2.4 million views).
When she is not performing, writing, dancing and doing school work, Hannah maintains a high profile online presence on Myspace, Bebo, Facebook, Twitter, and You Tube.
Early Influences! Gwen Staffani, No Doubt and 'Don't speak', Hannah singing it when she was three!
